SUPERVISION SERVICES
Dr. Erinn will not only train you in clinical assessment courses, but she will also supervise your use of these assessments in practice for the time period required for you to gain competency. If you are interested in supervision, please reach out to Dr. Erinn during the course to book your supervision hours.

Prerequisites:
1. Must be registered with appropriate counselling college or association for where you practice.
2. Diploma/Degree/Competency-based registered counsellors: Available to take Level 1 and Level 2.
3. Masters and/or Doctoral Clinicians: Available to take Level 1, 2, 3, & 4.
Exam:
Each course will include an online exam, requiring a pass rate of 80%.
Passing Level 1 is required to progress to Level 2.
Passing Level 2 is required to progress to Level 3.
Passing Level 3 is required to progress to Level 4.
Each course passed will include a certificate of completion.

Dr. Erinn Bailey-Sawatzky, Psy.D, M.A. offers clinical assessment specialty training courses for registered counsellors looking to increase their competencies in assessments. This training is provided for counsellors at a variety of practice levels for inclusivity in the field.
Dr. Erinn has a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD), where she has focused on clinical and counselling assessment. She is also a research expert publishing peer reviewed research on scope of practice in the mental health field and extensions to scope of practice. Additionally, she volunteers her time in AB and BC contributing to mental health scope of practice, regulation, ethical conduct, counsellor Advice To The Profession documents for an association, standards of practice, and supervision standards for clinical counsellors/psychotherapists while being the Canadian expert on prescribing psychologists (RxPs). She is also the Chair of a counselling professional conduct hearing tribunal committee. She is a provincial, national, and international speaker, most recently presenting at the Canadian Psychological Association 2025 conference, presenting her latest research. She is a strong advocate for clinical counsellors and psychologist scope of practice extensions in Canada.
Dr. Erinn has been in clinical practice for over a decade focused on psychotherapy and counselling assessment services, while also supervising several masters and doctoral level practicum students, while providing consultation services to fellow counsellors. She has tutored students in counselling and psychology at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level, including dissertation consultation, including supervising their general clinical counselling and assessment work. She works from a biopsychosocial perspective and is well connected in her practice with medical providers to assist with care coordination. She graduated with high honours and highest distinction in her counselling psychology and doctoral clinical psychology programs, respectively. Her special areas of interest and expertise include clinical and counselling assessment, psychopharmacology, insomnia and pain management, neurodiversity, healthcare provider treatment, couples counselling, and health psychology. Her doctoral education, combined with her practical experience, supervision, and teaching experience, provide an exceptional foundation to train and mentor other counsellors in Canada, specifically in specialty areas of practice such as clinical counselling assessment.
For practice, Dr. Erinn is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BC), Counselling Therapist (AB) and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor/Psychotherapist (CAD). Dr. Erinn is also a full member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
